Developed for racing, but equally at home as a super commuter or winter training Bike. The Mission CX combines thoroughbred Cyclocross racing genes with a long list of features that make it a sophisticated “day to day” Bike. Offering not just modern frame design but also an up-to-date geometry with plenty of tyre and toe clearance as well as seamless integration of the latest standards.
The Mission CX 5000 is offered up with a CF3 Carbon frame with carbon dropouts. The Nano matrix provides extra impact resistance while the tapered head tube and 142x12mm rear through axle provides stiffness and steering precision. Smart entry internal cable routing means a rattle free ride while the integrated mudguard mounts offer up greater versatility, particularly when used as a training or commuting Bike. The removable seat stay bridge can either stay in place to securely hold a rear mudguard or can be removed for a cleaner look and improved mud clearance. The flat mount rear calliper is mounted on the chain stay with is better for dissipating braking forces but also keeps it protected inside the rear triangle. Disclamer: Height is a good general guideline to discover the appropriately sized frame, but bear in mind that it is only the first part of the bike fitting process; please also note that your inseam length and arm length will play a big part in your overall comfort.
