2020 Marin San Quentin 3 Gloss Tan with Black and Orange
Developed in conjunction with freeride legend Matt Jones and taking its name from the most rough and tumble piece of Marin County, the all-new San Quentin collection lives up to the notoriety of the namesake maximum security California State Prison. Blending the strength and style of Marin’s Alcatraz dirt jump frame with the natural trail-savvy of the Nail Trail hardtail, the San Quentin family of aggressive trail hardtails is the perfect mash-up for the modern trail rider. The San Quentin 3 is built around a Series 3 aluminium frame, with more advanced tube forming than the 1, more complex dropouts, post mount disc tabs, full internal cable routing, and a boost 148mm thru-axle. ISCG 05 tabs is an extra feature for chain retention when the terrain gets super nasty. The slack head tube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle create a ride that will fly uphill with perfect front wheel precision but then descend like it’s on rails. The balanced rider position thanks to the steep seat tube puts your weight between the wheels for impressive climbing and handling on flats, while the slack front end and short rear centre help to pull you through the rough descents and corners with an intuitive feel.
Approx.* rider height range: Small 5’2’’ – 5’5’’, Medium 5’5’’ – 5’8’’, Large 5’8’’- 5’10’’, Extra Large: 5’10’’ – 6’0’’. Please note this range is a recommendation and should be used as a guide only. To ensure your best fit feel free to pop instore or contact our friendly web team.
