Merida Matts J20 Blue with White and Black
- K20 - available in some stores
The Merida Matts J20’s are manufactured from the same 6061 lightweight aluminium Merida use in adult bikes; the frames are also painted and lacquered in the same way, so the bikes can still look great even after a few tough knocks. 40mm of suspension travel up front smooths things out when the ride gets bumpy, while calliper brakes offer easy to service stopping power. A modern 1X gear setup avoids confusion for younger riders while also reducing the number of components to maintain. Dropout hangers are usually one of the first things to break or bend in a crash, so Merida have made this one easily replaceable. Children’s specific components such as the twist shifter and short reach brake lever ensure that even the less experienced cyclist can use their bikes safely and comfortably and make them easy to handle in any situation. Just like the grownups these Bikes come equipped with mounts for a rear rack and mudguards. A Kickstand is already included, so this quality ride won’t be left lying around.
Approx.* rider height range recommended by Merida for this Bike is 115-140cm (3’7’’ – 4’6’’) Please note this range is a recommendation and should be used as a guide only. To ensure your child’s best fit feel free to pop instore or contact our friendly web team.
