2020 Merida eBig Tour 400 EQ Matt Blue with Black
trekking bike at heart. With a frame based on the eBIG.NINE, the bike delivers a more comfortable riding feeling than a conventional trekking bike. However, as it comes fully equipped with fenders, carrier and lights, it is ideal for all tasks and duties you normally expect from a commuter bike or hybrid. The heavily bent down top tube offers incredible standover height for easy mount and dismount. 100mm Suspension up front offers lots of comfort while having plenty of reserves when you choose a more ‘off-road’ route home. Rolling on 29er wheels which have fantastic ‘rolling over obstacles’ behaviour. As standard, it comes equipped with 2.2" wide tyres which offer plenty of grip and comfort. If no fenders are fitted, the tyre can go up to 2.35" improving the off-road riding characteristics even further. The E7000 motor impresses commuters and sporty riders with its perfect balanced power delivery. A two-component battery cover offers perfect protection for the internal battery. The softer (outer) layer reduces noises, seals the downtube perfectly and absorbs hits from trail debris easily, while the harder (inner) layer ensures that the battery does not get damaged and gives it the structural shape. Multiple fixing positions for water bottles and accessories such as a folding lock or pump bracket are included on the frame; one on the top of the down tube, while a second is below the top tube.
Approx.* rider height range: Small: 5’0’’ – 5’5’’, Medium: 5’3’’ – 5’9’’, Large: 5’6’’– 6’1’’ XL: 6’1’’+. * Please note this range is a recommendation and should be used as a guide only. To ensure your best fit feel free to pop instore or contact our friendly web team.
